John A. Puleo, M.D.

| Originally from
Rochester, New York, Dr. Puleo was a Wilcox Scholar at Syracuse University.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Dr. Puleo received his medical training at Georgetown University School
of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his medical residency at the
University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, in New York. Dr. Puleo's
cardiovascular subspecialty training was completed at the University of
South Florida, Tampa.While at the University of South Florida, he was the
Chief Cardiology Fellow and the Young Investigator Award winner for his
outstanding post-doctoral research. Dr. Puleo has multiple publications
in peer review journals and has presented numerous research papers at National
Cardiovascular meetings. Dr. Puleo is an invasive (non-interventional)
board certified cardiologist specializing in cardiac catheterization,
nuclear cardiology, transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography and
cardiac consultations and is one of the leading experts on the use of Doppler
tissue imaging for the evaualution of heart failure. |
| Dr. Puleo
and his wife, Eve, have two children, Seneca Rose and Dominick. In his
spare time Dr. Puleo enjoys golfing, cooking and playing the saxophone
and nostalgia drag racing. |
